| This was taken around the 1930s. That is my mother's mom on the left - she passed away in 1969. Then there is mother's dad whom passed away in 1974. And that is George Moody, grandma Heavner's brother on the right. He used to be the checker champ around Five Points. His last days were spent in a little shack behind Five Points. Chewing tobacco and playing checkers were his favorite pastimes. My mother took care of both her parents in their last years. |
